This Privacy Policy describes how the Carryon mobile application ("Carryon", "the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use it on iOS or Android.
Summary in plain language
- Your habit data stays on your device. We do not upload, sync, or back up your habits, logs, streaks, or notes to our servers.
- We use Firebase Analytics + Crashlytics to understand which features are used and to fix crashes. These send anonymous usage and error data — never your habit content.
- If you subscribe to Carryon Premium, purchase processing is handled by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat. We never see or store your payment details.
- We do not sell your data, do not show you ads, and do not use the Advertising Identifier on Android.
Data we collect
1. Data stored on your device only
The following data is stored locally on your phone using your operating system's secure storage. It is never sent to us or any third party:
- Habit names, durations, schedules, colors, emojis, and reminders
- Daily logs of time spent on each habit
- Streak counts, surplus balances, and milestone flags
- One-time habit completions
- Pledges (if any)
- App preferences (e.g. which insights you've already seen)
- Timer state for in-progress sessions (so you can resume after closing the app)
You can delete all of this at any time by uninstalling the App.
2. Diagnostics and analytics
We use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) to understand how the App is used in aggregate and to identify and fix bugs.
